Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Intelligence

Responsibilities: 

• Provide real data-based process logic on new product launches and existing production lines.
• Identify key variables which have significant influence on process result.
• Further development of AI-based deep learning systems.
• Statistical analysis and big data evaluation.
• Support YF quote activities with regards to data-based process features.
• Apply Core Manufacturing Process (CMP)
• Provide Manufacturing Feasibility Analysis (DFA/DFM) and support PFMEA on new product launches.
• Reports on AME deliverable
• Plant support during the implementation of manufacturing intelligent process extension.

Requirements: 

• Business Operating System (BOS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related BOS requirement
• Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements
• Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements
• Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirement
• Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
• University degree or professional education in electrical engineering, technical informatics or automation.
• Basic knowledge of program structure in SIMATIC S7 machine controller (TIA-Portal).
• Basic knowledge of measurement- and control systems.
• Basic knowledge of statistical big-data analysis.
• More than 3 years’ work experiences OEM, Tier One or Equipment supplier work experience (preferably automotive)
• MS Office skill
• YFIMS/ Lean manufacturing
