Certification Body Deputy

Our institute - VUTCH - located in walking distance from the center of Zilina and rail and bus stations in Zilina is looking for a university educated person preferably with science degree to perform the job of Notification Body Deputy. This person will work along with Certification Body Director to review applications for certifications of mostly Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and occasionally Toys. This work requires learning about the rules and regulations in the industry and be able to perform reviews whether applicants are in compliance with the rules and regulations. It is a big plus if the person has some understanding of textile industry (physical properties) or chemistry. Highly skilled, quick learner who is able to approach issues from scientific perspective and who would be interested in this specific topic can grasp the basics within a couple of months. Continuous learning is essential as this industry is evolving with time.

As we are a rather smaller company it is natural end nice to also help elsewhere in the company when you see that help is needed.

The following elements are essential for successfully performing the job:

* Fluent in using PC and Internet
* Good in reporting
* Detail oriented
* Disciplined approach to work

Knowledge of:
* EN17065, ISO9001, EN17025
* REACH
* OekoTex (R)

Knowledge/experience of the Test Laboratories and/or Certification Body industries.
