Senior Developer for IBM ESB/BPM

This position is aimed to design, develop and production support Banking process automation solutions implemented on IBM BPM platform. The solutions include both internal banking process as well as client-oriented sales and servicing processes with 24x7 availability, incl. internet banking applications and mobile solutions. The position requires both expert skills and strong ownership in assigned application domain.


Responsibilities include:

• Work jointly IT Architects to define/evolve adopted architectural principles and standards applicable to ESB/BPM platform
• Perform ongoing analysis of current implementations in order to identify architectural gaps, propose solutions how these deficiencies to be rectified and provide roadmap for the implementation of corrective measures
• Work jointly with Business , IT Architects, Functional Analysts on analysis of business requirements, processes and propose solutions, identify and remedy risks
• Perform complex application design and development tasks within appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines
• Perform analysis, design, task breakdown, and provide input to the project managers for scheduling and resource allocation
• Cooperate with IT Architects and jointly define best fitting solutions according to architecture, platform limitations and technology roadmaps
• Provide Level 3 application support to facilitate smooth operation and early recovery for Severity 1 production incidents (24x7 on-call). Support business operation with ad-hoc reporting and identify preventive maintenance opportunities to increase stability and performance of in-scope solutions.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Experience in banking is strongly preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills, logical and creative thinking is required. Knowledge of English level on advanced intermediate level.

We expect a person with at least 5 years’ experience with J2E development and integration projects and 2+years practice with BPM. Experience in banking is strongly preferred. • Experience with implementation projects based on IBM BPM 8.5 ( or Websphere Process Server )
• Capability to design and implement J2E solutions ( Websphere Application Server based )
• Previous experience with integrations over JMS, Websphere MQ and advantage
• Experience in interactions and communication with business partners
• Experience with EAI patterns and implementation
• Experience in SW development and Solution delivery processes
• Experience in using modelling tools
• Experiences with J2E, XML, Javascript
• Database: Database design principles and techniques, PL/SQL (Oracle, MS SQL)
• Business process automation knowledge, BPMN modelling
