Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Responsible for delivery of the complete financial statement for legal entity in the reporting consolidation system (BCS). The delivery should be aligned with relevant chapters of Volvo Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP) and other guidelines (including local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)) for financial reporting
- Provide high quality financial services to the company
- Manage and review of tax statements and tax documentation in compliance with tax legislation. Responsible for tax calculation process and tax compliance process.
- Regularly perform controls on tax-related transactions
- Drive daily control and monitoring within all relevant accounting processes
- Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity
- Is responsible for the Disclosure Checklist, or similar tool/checklist to be completed
- Consolidate, report and deliver monthly and annual closing of the legal entity results
- Coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity, or for a specific Business Areas (BA)/ Business Unit (BU).
- Responsible for compliance with internal control objectives, local GAAP’s and Financial Policies and Procedures
- Assist in matters related to fiscal control of projects and programs, ensure legal and FPP compliance
- Manage the monthly end closing process, business consolidation system reporting and preparation for annual audit
- People management responsibility for accounting staff in the local company control department
- Establish good working relationships with all partners and staff members
- Responsibility for delivery to our partners
- Accountable for financial and operational measurements in ACC governance model
- Represent ACC in legal entity

Personality requirements and skills

Graduated economic science or similar adequate completed education
- Accounting experience for more than 10 years
- Reporting knowledge according to IFRS standards
- Preferably audit experience for min 2 years
- Leadership/management experience for min 5 years
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- High business integrity
- Driven, enthusiastic and with high integrity
- Proficiency in English language
- Advanced computer skills
