Communications Associate

Your new role
• Serve as primary support staff to the Communications Director in all communications related tasks
• Draft press releases, social media posts, and other written materials as needed – in Slovak and/or English
• Significant amount of Slovak-English translation, written and verbal
• Update websites
• Stay abreast of developments in our field and share them with colleagues
• Track relevant media and social media in our fields and prepare responses accordingly
• Graphic design work, as capable
• Occasionally represent the company at events

What you’ll need to succeed
• A passion for and experience in communications – writing, social media, video – and helping our company get its name, brand, and values out there
• Interest in sustainability, renewable energy, electric vehicles
• Desire to be a part of building a mid-sized renewable energy company into a bigger multinational enterprise
• You are results oriented – you want to do a good job and get each assignment done well - not just “punch a clock”
• You care about the quality of your work and how it reflects on yourself and the company, so you work hard to do a superior job
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time and ensure they are all completed
• Ability to work remotely and occasionally on evenings & weekends
• Close attention to detail (esp. in writings and translations)
• Video editing skills and experience highly desirable
• Native Slovak, very good English - Polish is highly desirable
