Software Engineer/Developer

Job description:

- as a pivotal member of our engineering cohort, you will be entrusted with the task of architecting, developing, and maintaining the
middleware of a robust e-commerce solution

Requirements:
- have 5+ years of experience in backend software development with C# and .NET.(at least v4+) / .NET Core (at least v3.1+) frameworks
- you like to think both as an architect and as a coder
- a cloud native mindset with a sound background in designing and developing cloud-based web applications using cloud providers, especially Microsoft Azure
- experience with microservices architecture and event driven design and API-First solutions
- proficiency in backend technologies (e.g. C#/ASP.NET Core), .NET 6 Web APIs (AAD authentication, EF Core, Swagger, ORM Frameworks)
- experience with DevOps like CI/CD, automated testing, configuration of logging and monitoring systems, infrastructure management etc.
- you have experience with cloud technologies, ideally with MS Azure and have a strong understanding of ServiceBus, EventGrid, Azure Functions, WebApps, AppInsight, Blob storage, MessageBus, Message queue and related components
- you have proficient skills in Database Technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB
- you have previously worked in agile environments and are familiar with devops processes & scrum
- you are a clean code evangelist & leave the code better than it was found
- you are someone who loves to debug but also creates robust applications
- you believe in automation, you like to build, optimise, and test deployment strategies
- you are a team player with profound sense of responsibility, ownership and love to mentor other engineers
- you follow coding principles like YAGNI, KISS, SOLID, DRY & advocate for high coding standards
- you leave no lose ends & always like to tidy up with good documentation
- you think ahead of many years to build a scalable & maintainable system
- good communication skills in English written and spoken

Advantage:
- relevant Microsoft certifications
- E-commerce experience is a plus
- experience with Redis, Hangfire is a plus
