Accounting supervisor / Head of accounting

Supervises local general accountants, cooperates with finacial shared service center and reviews/analyses accruals and reserves to ensure that financial accounting for Nove Mesto conforms with US GAAP and Vertiv corporate procedures and policies (CP&P) and for the legal entity Vertiv Slovakia, a.s. with Slovak GAAP (IFRS)
Responsible for month end closure & financial reporting (preparation of financial statements incl. subsidiary reports according to US-GAAP)
Preparation of transparent supporting documentation & reconciliations in accordance with SOX and CP&Ps
Review and analysis of accruals, prepaids, other reserves, def. tax calculation, payroll jnl and preparation of any necessary manual journals as of month end Approval of supplier payments in the bank.
Responsible for preparation of Slovak GAAP annual accounts for the whole legal entity including intra company consolidation of two divisions
Prepares financial data for annual report and for general meetings for the whole legal entity
Resposible for alignment of the intra company chart of accounts according to Slovak GAAP and proposal of statutory accounting policies&procedures
Cooperates with accounting resources of both divisions to implement changes in local accounting legislation & ensures that necessary trainings (internal/external) are provided.
Resposible for intra company consolidation of statistical reports (NBS, other statistics)
Main interface for external and internal auditors
Responsible for corporate income tax
Responsible for all communication with tax office including managing tax inspections except for VAT for the whole legal entity
Manages a team of 8 accountants
