Job description, responsibilities and duties

POSITION CHARACTERISTICS:
He/She is responsible for the entrusted product lines according to the marketing policy of the company. He/she builds a positive image of the products through contacts with the professional public and continuously seeks to improve the given products.
The employee must perform his/her work in accordance with a strategic timetable, which is in line with the Labour Code.

Management and achieving the required sales and strategic business objectives of the sales team of product specialists, which are planned for a given period.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Achieving the marketing policy of the company, allocation of sales plans and quality targets through the following:

1. Performance of market analyses and preparation of marketing, promotions, budget
and sales plans according to current needs.

1. Transfer of above mentioned data to the immediate superior and other departments according to the needs and practices.

2. Planning and implementation of promotion as well as selection and preparation of the most effective tools for the implementation of the selling products process.

3. Planning of the marketing costs.

4. Support of the Training Department in real training of the product specialists.

5. Active participation in the company's policy of pricing and reimbursements.

6. Support of product specialists during conferences, workshops and symposia.

7. Preparation and presentation of current and planned marketing activities and other sale process supporting data during the company's meetings.

8. Maintaining of a list containing information on supported products, where he/she is an expert in matters relating to the products according to care as well

9. Monitoring of competitors' activities in the area of promotions carried out.

10. Performing other tasks assigned by superiors in accordance with the Labor Law and the binding regulations.

11. Preparation of regional sale plans aimed at:
• recruiting, steady development and continual education and training of product specialists
• care about the key clients in the entrusted region
• planning and implementation of operational tasks (following the approval by the General Manager)
• overseeing of the implementation of special promotion campaigns and promotion campaigns of individual products
• participation in major medical/pharmaceutical conferences and symposia, at regional or national levels and abroad

12. Timely informing the immediate superior about the sales plans, assigned tasks, advertising campaigns, meetings, symposia and own suggestions.

13. Management of the entrusted budget and other tools for achieving the best results in compliance with the statutory ethical and legal standards.

14. Continuous development of management skills, participation in regular meetings and workshops organized by the company, as well as in educational activities organized by external subjects.

15. Monitoring legislative changes in the area of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, regular informing of their direct subordinates about these changes.

16. Accompanying the Product Specialists during visits to the clients in order to develop and monitor compliance with specific promotional skills and tasks.

17. Collecting feedback from clients for the purpose of information on the client's satisfaction, results and effective response to the competitors' activities.

18. Participation in the selection of appropriate medical/pharmaceutical and other professional events and assigning of tasks to product specialists in relation to these congresses.

19. Planning, execution of regular meetings with product specialists in the regions and therapeutic areas. Provision of logistics for these meetings (location, accommodation, information of participants, assignment of tasks, checking of the fulfillment of assigned tasks).

20. Supervision of the entrusted article handover process (tangible assets of Valeant) to subordinates (work equipment, tools, and aids, promotional tools).

21. Checking the subordinate representatives' expenditures account from the formal point of view and in terms of effectiveness and eligibility of the expended financial resources.
