Job description, responsibilities and duties

World's largest submarine sandwich restaurant chain seeks
candidates for Field Consultant position covering Slovakian market.

Field Consultant will coach Subway(R) franchise owners on increasing sales and profitability and thereby enabling them to expand the business with the Subway(R) brand. Field Consultant will provide knowledge and expertise in the growth of the territory, specifically contributing to the success of the stores and franchisees within assigned geographical area. Field Consultant will provide customized business direction to increase sales and maximizing profitability. Field Consultant will communicate and report on performance of every SUBWAY(R) store and will be responsible for sales & profitability results. Field Consultant will have to develop strong working relationships in order to effect positive change and enhance the reputation of the brand.

Area to cover: Slovakia. Residence in Bratislava is required.

BUILDING SALES & PROFITS
Follow operational and compliance procedures and education during restaurant visits. Completion of monthly store evaluations. Document and adhere to Company compliance standards, improvements made, areas of opportunity and direction on how to improve. Evaluate how the restaurant is performing compared to SUBWAY(R) policies and procedures, analyze sales and cost data and provide specific direction to improve in these areas.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
Coach and counsel franchisees to reach individual store and territory goals. Train franchisees, managers, store employees. Provide guidance to franchisees how to grow their business. Develop productive working relationships with franchisees, territory team members and HQ employees. Build Territory Relations by visiting all stores at least twice a month and keep on going communication over the phone, e-mail, territory meetings, individual franchisee meetings. Gain respect from franchisees to be recognized as an asset to the business and leader in the field.

BUILDING STORES
Assist Development Agent in store construction phase. Provide directions and proficiency to franchisees and staff with regard to New Store Openings. Complete store opening process as per company procedures.

SELF-DEVELOPMENT
Applies designated training programs to develop new skills. Participates in all scheduled training classes, including on-line conference call training, training in company Training Centers and attend company meetings, training programs to develop new skills.

Personality requirements and skills

Ideal candidates should fulfil following requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year' experience in similar consulting position or industry related position
- Restaurant or QSR industry experience preferred
- Willingness to travel within Slovakia
- Hold driving License category B
- Excellent written and verbal communication, oral presentation, time management, problem solving and business analysis skills
- High degree of details orientation and ability to work within a team
- Ability to work autonomously and be professional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
- Good geographical knowledge of Slovakia and Central & Eastern Europe
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and Slovak/ Czech
