Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Project Quality Engineer will participate on projects to quality alternative material/ components used in manufacturing of medical devices. The Project Quality Engineer’s main responsibility is to ensure that the requirements of Design Control are implemented retrospectively and Design History File and Technical File updated; review existing test methods where they exist and support development and validation of updated or new test methods; review or develop QC plans for products; identify need for product and process risk assessments and support or lead cross-functional teams to implement risk management.
The Project Quality Engineer will work in close cooperation with Project department and local Quality, Site R&D, Site Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Global Marketing as well as functions in Global Manufacturing.

Personality requirements and skills
- Experience gained within a Regulated industry, preferably Medical Devices with knowledge and understanding of requirements Quality Systems and Design Control.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Risk Management and the application and use of Risk Management Tools such as FMEA, Process Mapping, Hazard Analysis.
- Experience with Quality and Six Sigma tools such as Quality Control Plans, Test Method validation and transfer, Statistics, Experimental Designs, Root Cause Analysis, Process Validation, Process Optimization.
- Logical Thinking Skills and Experience: demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data gathered from a variety of sources and utilize.
- Must be proficient with PC programs, i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with plastic injection molding, plastic extrusion, flexible packaging and manual assembly preferable.
