Lead Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Developer

A lead DWH and BI developer is responsible for Data Warehouse and BI solutions processes support organization, maintenance of exiting solution and development of new requirements and leadership of a development team
He/she also participate on projects during the projects initialization and planning to understand business intention to define impact on the solution functionality and architecture and make high-level estimation

Tasks:
• Being partner to BI processing and operational team, business other and other solutions in our DWH/BI environment
• Organization of team staff resources, and priorities, assigning and monitoring individual activities to consistently meet or exceed delivery objectives within designated project time lines.
• Leading a team of developers
• Assuring consistent and optimum maintenance and development of the solution by utilization of proper technologies and tools
• Organization and participation on 3rd level support for our operations team
• Organization and cooperation with the testing team
• Being partner to analytical team
• Assuring DWH and BI agreed releases for the solution
• Participating on research projects, exploring and evaluating new technologies
• Provision of direct guideline, assessment and training for ETL developers
• Participating on research projects, exploring and evaluating new technologies
• Assuring effective SDLC and maintenance of documentation

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Several years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes for DWH and BI solutions
• Very good knowledge of the following tools and programming languages:
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 11g and higher
• Oracle Data Integrator
• Oracle Apex
• Unix and JAVA scripting
• 3 and more years of experiences in leading a development teams
• 5 or more years of software development experience with Oracle databases
• 5 or more years of experience developing ETL processes against relational and dimensional/star-schema structures and experience developing ETL against denormalize and normalized data structures
• Experience with developing ETL/ELT processes using ODI tool welcomed

Other Skills:
• Fluent English - both verbal and written communication is precondition
• The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
