Cloud Administrator (AWS or Azure)

The Cloud Administrator will be part of a team that does lift and shift migration of on-premise appications to AWS or Azure platform (respectably). He will execute the lift and shift strategy defined by the Cloud Architect, including the automation of various steps of the migration process.

• Execute the AWS or Azure lift and shift strategy:
• Provision the appropriate AWS or Azure services as per the migration strategy
• Deploy the AWS or Azure-enabled applications on to the appropriate services
• Automate the deployment process using PowerShell/ Perl/ other suitable scripting language
• Identify and implement appropriate AWS or Azure best practices
• Administer the AWS or Azure servers (Windows / Linux) to ensure uptime, availability, security etc
