Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse/ BI Architect who will manage the Data Warehouse Architecture and strategy. As well the part of Data Analysis, DW Modelling, Design, Metadata and support. You will work on a variety of DWH & BI assignments providing project management & technical leadership across the business.

• Defining Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) Backend and Reporting Strategy
• Designing and implementing global DWH process
• Monitoring and reporting progress of DWH & BI Strategy Delivery Plan
• Promoting and enforcing DWH & BI Change Management processes
• Cascade DWH & BI design to Global and local Management Teams
• Manage relationship between IT and User community
• Liaise with technical resources (IT and third party suppliers)
• Liaise with QA on DWH & BI quality and validation issues
• Strategy - Assist with defining and employing change management processes (requirements definition, approval and delivery)
• Quality Assurance - Assist with defining and applying quality standards
• Development - Create functional and technical requirement specifications, and work with managers to agree on development activities and perform development.
• Training - Ensure available tools/skills match BPL's information requirements; identify and arrange appropriate skills training
• Support - Provide expert advice and support to Business Area Specialists and promote communication and collaborative working between them
• Development - and maintenance of DWH and BI tools ranging from basic reports to Senior Management Dashboards
• Coordinate DWH & BI security/audit/QA strategies
• Monitor DWH& BI capacity and performance
• Monitor and report on DWH & BI support performance
• Collaboration with international project and development teams
• Involvement in projects concerning the redesign, consolidation and enhancement of existing applications

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• University/higher technical college degree (computer science, commercial information technology or similar) or similar qualification
• Several years of experience in DWH/BI area
• Several years of experience with modern reporting tools and designing reporting solutions
• Understanding of reporting as an essential basis of corporate management
• Very good knowledge and interest in presenting information for the management point-of-view
• Very good communication skills along with ability to be assertive at different hierarchy levels
• Excellent customer and service orientation
• Excellent analytical skills, creativity and a good understanding of the individual needs of our customers
• You have good communication skills and you can easily integrate into an international team.
• You are able to work efficiently and independently also under pressure.
• Experiences with Issues and project tracking systems like JIRA
