Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Senior Java Developer for our client, who is the provider of IT solutions, systems, hardware and software services.
It’s a cooperation with the Vienna office, however this position is based in Bratislava.

Responsibilities
Senior developer manages autonomously his own tasks and supervises tasks of some junior developers according to instructions given by a technical leader.

- Analysis, set-up, configuration and customization of business workflows using WebLogic workshop, Eclipse
- Analysis, customization, development and translation of software components using BEA WebLogic Workshop, Eclipse
- Integration of Java application services with Bank’s new or existing systems and devices
- Documentation, unit testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing of all software artefacts
- Packaging and deployment of J2EE enterprise application in Bank environments
- Coordination of the activities of a small team of junior developers

Traveling to Client’s premises may be required.

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1)

Experience with following technologies is required:
- JAVA
- JEE
- Spring
- SVN/Git
- Maven

- Knowledge of the typical software development cycle is required
- Knowledge of UML is a plus
- Knowledge of financial and banking concepts is a plus

- University degree (Bachelor degree in computer science is desirable)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required
