Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• operation, documentation and monitoring of the customer related telecommunication infrastructure
• solving of incidents and work on service requests based on the defined processes
• processing of IMAC/R orders
• fulfillment of IMAC/R orders via remote administration
• commission of IMAC/R orders, that needs to be fulfilled onsite by the field service
• planning and processing of changes and maintenance windows in coordination with the relevant division of the customer and the internal teams
• cooperation and controlling of external providers (Field Service Provider; 3rd Level Service Provider)
• collecting accounting information as basis for customer bills
• participation on internal and external projects with a direct contact to the customer
• participation of on call duty
• direct customer communication in regards to Incident-, Request-Management and projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

• profound knowledge and experiences in:
o Unify PBX Systems (V3 and V7)
o Alcatel OmniPCX incl. Voicemail Alcatel Open Touch
o Trading “XPert”
o Open Scape Applications (Contact Center, Concierge, UC, Xpression etc.)
o Voice Recording (ASC-Solution)
o Video Conference Systems
o Fax Server Solution (Interscope Message Plus)
• profound knowledge in IP- and TDM phone systems
• basic knowledge/ understanding of network and firewall technologies
• basic ITIL knowledge
• willingness to business trip and for work overtime
• good German skills (speak, read, write)
