Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this position you will be facing the following tasks:

• Business Analyst responsible and accountable for the full lifecycle Development Management
• Business and functional analysis of the requirements working with Technical Analysts and customers to design functional software solutions for the CORE02 banking system
• Manage and provide business support for the preparation of estimates for costs relating to functional requirements and/or conducts estimations applying FPA methodology. Coordinates or contributes to the realisation of associated CORE products changes
• Manage and design the solution by writing Business Specifications in detail to a level where the required development or change to CORE02 software (from a business and functional prospective) can easily be understood by client for their approval
• Writes and executes System Test Plans detailing results and working with Technical Analyst and Developers to resolve issues prior to delivering the solution to the clients.
• Liaise with customers at all stages of the development. Liaise with and direct allocated technical team to develop the solutions and manage timely error resolution during the System Test and UAT cycles.
• Ensure CORE02 documentation is updated fully for all developments and changes to the software
• All work to be completed in accordance with the UBIS procedures and standards in the designated tools
• Manage and coordinates (low PM impact) the projects allocated from demand to completion. Customer management, team management and project planning and tracking

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Your profile:
• Experience of working in a functional capacity on banking software packages
• Experience of working in a customer orientated environment
• Must be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Financial Instruments and market best practices.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a complex international working environment, having a number of developments in progress simultaneously.
• Must be able to meet agreed deadline and work according to agreed budgets.
• Excellent English and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exposure and/or understanding of PM or PMO role
