Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial mindset who is able to coordinate the selling activities in the area of non-ferrous scrap for our operations in Slovakia. This includes setting the trading strategy and managing the risk position on a company level and supporting local branches and traders.
• At the same time you will be responsible for regular purchase of metal scrap from national and international key accounts and maintaining relationships with end-users and colleagues in the Czech Republic and Germany.
• You will be in close cooperation with logistics department and also with the operations managers in the whole of Slovakia, directly reporting to the CEO of the company.
• This position is based in Bratislava but will require travelling in surrounding countries.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree preferably in business administration or economics
• Min. 5 years experience in a senior commercial position preferably in a trading environment
• Strong entrepreneurial mind-set
• Goal oriented and proactive approach to given tasks
• Very good communication skills in English and/or German
