Purchasing manager

What to expect:
As the company’s Purchasing Manager, you will oversee all procurement functions of the Plant. Being the overall accountable for realizing our annual procurement savings and efficiency targets, you will maintain a plant spending, analyze our supplier base for savings potential, and lead your purchasing staff accordingly. Supplier strategies, running and supervising negotiations, and improving on supply contract terms and their consistency will also fall under your and your team’s responsibility. We look at you and your team as a part of our continues improvement activities to develop our future product portfolio while consciously managing our manufacturing cost position and enhance the profitability of our pipeline.

Your duties will include:
• Cooperation with Central International Purchasing to create and develop sourcing strategies
• Create and implement improvements of the purchasing process
• Ensure the purchasing process is measurable, and create the right type of reports and catch and correct deviations early on
• Carry out ongoing supplier assessments to evaluate existing suppliers and their performance
• Establish and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
• Negotiate prices to company´s best interest
• Supervise and coach Plant Purchasing Team and keep them motivated
• Create and maintain a good network inside Plant and international TRW structure to ensure collaboration across the departments and along the purchasing processes.
• Lead your team with empathy while fostering a high performance and delivery culture
