Job description, responsibilities and duties
The IT Application Analyst Business Systems is responsible to provide any kind of service for the implementation and the technical and functional support of our business applications the ERP System (QAD), the MRO Material Handling System (EAM), EDI and the Barcode Scanning Solution (Eagle) including, for this applications, the used hardware. That includes Scope Definition, collecting of all relevant Information, development and testing, implementation and training and support during new Implementations of the complete Business Application Software Portfolio or of a part of it.
Project planing
• Medium project management inclusive the implementation of that Project
• Enduser Training
• Internal "consultant" for the MFG/PRO, EAM, EDI Application at Tower
• Innovation of processes
• Optimization and Streamlining of Business Processes and development of new Tools for this.
• Status-Reporting
• Post-Implementation Support
• Identification of improvements areas in Business Process that can be covered by the Business Systems, propose to Businness and follow-up as project if agreed on
QAD/EAGLE/EAM/EDI daily support
• New project management in the area of the support
• Management/Users consultant for Business Processes improvements
• CQ report development
• Progress programs development
• Analysis of Business requirements and of development specification
• EDI setup

Technical degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in the automotive industry.
• Business Knowledge
• Ideally in addition to IT experience, experience in the operations, purchasing, inventory control, requirement planning, finance or controlling area
• Experience in implementing ERP Systems
• Progress programing language knowledge and 4GL DB knowledge
• Team player and customer focused
• Good PC knowledge inclusive MS Projects, Word and Excel
• Good knowledge of MFG/PRO or other ERP systems and the other Business Applications used at Tower.
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in the automotive industry.
