• Compliance – implement, maintain and improve various compliance programmes (e.g. anti-bribery & fraud, data privacy, information security, competition compliance) which includes inter alia drafting and updating policies, conducting risk assessments, developing internal processes, providing trainings (both e-learning and f2f trainings), communication (in order to build awareness), monitoring, etc.;
• Governance - preparing documents (pre-reads, reports, minutes, next steps trackers, etc.) relating to the CE compliance and Czech corporate governance forums;
• Internal audits - represent Legal in internal audits;
• Horizon scanning - must have continuously updated knowledge of information relating to legislation and draft legislation that may affect / concern the employer; must be aware of the anticipated impact of said legislation and the possible methods of mitigating such impact; systematic preparation of summaries relating to legislation relevant to the employer;
• Keep contact with business stakeholders and pro-actively and collaboratively support their work
