Job description, responsibilities and duties

Being a member of Central Europe Team (Slovakia, Czech, Poland, Hungary) – General Merchandise (GM, Non-Food) Business Support, reporting to GM Operation manager
Coordinating GM communication activities within Czech and Slovak business
Gate keeper for all communications- translate and create all local GM communications for stores (weekly, daily, seasonal, etc.)
Cooperation with local communication team and retail operations team.
Translation (from ENG to SK) of packs and files (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) created by operation managers and their communication to retail operations team.
Gate keeper for all store issues- ensure that all store issues are solved on time by reporting them to the other functions – working with internal systems
Attend conference calls and collate store and operations issues and ensure that they are being escalated to the right level and solved on time
Team Conference calls/meetings – facilitation of team meetings, calls, events – organizing, taking notes/next steps, following up on them
Project management – end-to-end project ownership of a given project – providing updates to the wider teams - ensure that the wider CE team is aware of local initiatives.

Requirements for the employee

Required education

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Computer skills - user

Microsoft Outlook - advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - advanced
Microsoft Excel - advanced
Microsoft Word - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

High school degree minimum
Min 1 year working experience
Strong skills on Word and Powerpoint, basic skills on Excel
Proficiency in English – all communications to be translated (ENG-SK)
Eye for detail
Work under pressure with short deadlines
Able to work in a fast paced team
Able to manage frequent changes
Team player
Strong written communication skills – both in English and Slovak
Quick thinker – able to see the point quickly
Conceptual thinker – able to see the end-to-end process
