Head of Production

The Head of Production will be responsible for the day-to-day production management that includes milling and drilling for manufacturing belts used in welding process for various customers in the automotive industry, welding, cutting and some assembly activities. The manager should have a high focus on productivity, efficiency and motivating the staff, including full responsibility for the production budget. The manager will be responsible for reports of detailed key performance indicators for the entire production area.

It is a role for an experienced, mature leader who has spent several years in the machinery production management and currently seeks a more strategic role that will be still production management focused but the strategic, leadership role will prevail the daily operative management.


Detailed description:

• Manage daily milling/drilling and other production activity,
• Plan the daily and weekly activities,
• Manage proper staffing within the assembly and production,
• Ensure profitable business by reducing costs,
• Assist in developing the proper Standard operating procedures,
• Keep production area efficiency and manage emergencies,
• Co-operate in technical changes, new products and production processes launching,
• Participate in man/machinery/material efficiency definition and monitoring,
• Implement new technologies to improve efficiency,
• Profitability analysis on customer levels,
• Ensure an effective people management,
• Set individual and group goals to drive results within the organization


Requirements:

• 10 or more years experience in production with solid previous experience in machinery production including milling and drilling experience,
• Flexible, communicative, practical
• Good organizational and management skills,
• Strong focus on customers; having general business overview
• Leads for performance,
• Remains flexible with regard to job assignments at all times,
• Team player,
• English and Slovak on a fluent level
