Our client is a respected and trusted European industrial company, leader in its market segment. The company has been in a process of developing an international business centre in Eastern Slovakia.

We are looking to hire a senior manager, business lead, who will be part of the original design, build and deploy project team. This is a very exciting opportunity that enables the candidate to join the Project Team during the Design and Build of overall HR services. The candidate will lead the team to provide overall HR support to the Business Shared Services Center during start-up phase and also in the later – operations stage. Initial project work will require frequent travelling inside Europe.

Additionally, the HR Lead will provide leadership and direction to the Shared Services team that will deliver services within Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Payroll. The HR Process Lead will be responsible for creating an environment and culture that drives process improvement activities, meets or exceeds service level requirement targets and provides superior customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership of the HR Organization that supports building and operation of a Shared Services Center
• Provide leadership in all design/build components of HR process during project phase and during implementation – processes, recruiting, knowledge transfer, and training
• Provide process and master data expertise
• Plan, organize and define roles for team
• Liaise with key business partners
• Directly supervise team
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members
• Develop staff training needs and documentation
• Foster teamwork and communication within and across organizational boundaries
• Establish process performance indicators

Requirements for the employee

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Business, HR, finance

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree with a major in business, HR or finance
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of practical HR experience, out of that at least 5 years in a managerial position
• Proven track record in leading and motivating teams
• Excellent customer service skills
• Broad based experience in HR systems, preferably SAP
• Project management experience preferred
• Ability to plan, assign and direct work
• Shared service implementation experience an asset
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
