Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description/ Purpose
The holder of the job takes care of and acts a main point of contact for day to day business matters for all customers for end to end delivery of project management support, project management and related services.
The holder organizes and coordinates activities of 40+ specialists, with 1-2 direct reports (heads of teams).
The holder plans and coordinates delivery of end-to-end service and processes according to project management methodology for internal and external customers/requestors.

Accountabilities
Processes and service delivery
Establish and nurture relationships with clients and other stakeholders for effective communication and expansion of existing operational capabilities in the nearshore in line with global unit strategy.
Develop and implement mid-term tactical plans and implementation projects for new business pipeline, manage order pipeline on a project basis and sign-off takeover into operation documentation with process owners.
Operationally manage critical situations and solve escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients; participate in the MoD processes and on-call shifts.
Coordinate delivery of project management services, consultancy, implementation and review for international customers.
Coordinate project management methodology and compliance with global PM standards, act as head of PMO for the local company.
Quality assurance
Deliver services/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts, SLA, OLA, etc.
Continuously improve processes and products/services in assigned area, plan improvements and implement improvements programs.
Coordinate and control activities within assigned unit to deliver Quality KPI’s and relevant customer satisfaction expectations.
Budgets and finances
Plan, adjust and control financial and other business plans to be able to effectively manage business of own org.unit.
Control finance and efficiency management initiatives and production variance across the assigned organizational units and sub-units.
Control cost planning, budgeting and budget management in line with global unit and local company financial targets.
People
Motivate and develop people in own team to be able to deliver better quality and fulfill expectation of employees.
Actively steer capacity of the assigned organizational unit in terms of optimizing human resources in order to guarantee quality of results, SLA fulfillment and effective operation.

Management scope
People: lead organizational unit with 1-2 direct reports, indirectly leading teams with 40+ specialists
People: coordinate team with complex job profiles, potential members of global PM pool
Finance: control revenues up to Eur 1.5 mil.p.a. and plans/controls total workforce costs of Eur 1.2 mil. p.a.
Processes: pre-operational and T&T Quality Gates and takeover from sales and to operation for all contracted services

Requirements for the employee

Required education

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements

Education
University degree (Master's degree preferred) in Informatics or Economics field or other equivalent education

Experience
min 4 years professional experience in IT industry involving at least 2 functional areas/fields of ICT service delivery
min 2 years active experience in managing people, teams and/or projects with min 20 members
min 2 years experience in international and large project management and/or T&T
min 2 years of experience in service management (e.g. SLAs, ITIL, financial management, driving down unit cost,
KPI reporting) combined with a customer focused and results oriented drive.

Languages
English (mandatory) – B2+ (verbally, written, reading)
German (recommended) – B1+ (verbally, written, reading)

Financial literacy – planning, breakdown and elaboration of budgets
Hard skills – requirements analysis, business case preparation and review recommended
