As a Finance Operations Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to establish and implement a culture of continuous process improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.


Your Tasks:
1. Own the process of Triage and Investigate Airtable queries:
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve existing or new queries while collaborating with the team to support the investigation, offering necessary insights and assistance in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Draft Process Manual:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process manuals outlining the finance operations procedures.
3. Adhere to Month End & Qtr End Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with Month End and Quarter End reporting requirements within agreed deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Continuous Process Improvement:
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to optimise workflow efficiency.
5. Client Relationship Management:
  • Acting as a point of contact for finance-related queries and building trust through transparent and effective communication.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting Ops, Data team and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of finance operations with other organisational functions.


Experience Required:
• Mandatory previous work experience in Finance sector or Finance Ops role in the past.


Your skills:
• Excellent Excel working with complex formulae/tables.
• Strong communication and presentation skills. 
• Able to work independent of process maps and documentation.
• Good knowledge of process improvement methodologies


Nice to have:
• Knowledge of insurance policy administration systems e.g. Eclipse
• Understanding of data visualisation and reporting e.g Power BI
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies
• Qualifications include being a qualified accountant with professional accreditation such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
