Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Experiments team brings to life visions of new technical functionality that has the potential to give company a competitive advantage. Combining rapid application development and data science, we create prototypes that demonstrate the viability and potential of new business ideas. We’re a small but diverse team with development, analytics, business and data science experience; our main technologies are R with Tidyverse and Shiny, Terraform with AWS, and occasionally Python, but also other technologies as necessary.
Your Tasks:
• Data gathering
• Data manipulation
• Analysis
• Pipeline development
• API development
• Development of Shiny applications
Your Skills:
• Experience programming with the R programming language
• Experience using SQL and working with relational databases
• Knowledge of data visualisation principles
• Familiarity with agile working & issue management systems like Jira
• Familiarity with Shiny
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience of web-scraping
• Knowledge of cloud services (particularly AWS)
• Knowledge of Terraform
