Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Process support to engineering
  • Making process calculations
  • Concept engineering: process design, skid design, plant design, lay-out design.
  • Take care of the creation of the design in 3D and/or AutoCAD
  • Transmission to others (internally and externally)
  • Take charge in engineering assignments
  • Responsible for offering technical support to the sales team.
  • Responsible for a client’s order and the complete quotation process
  • To evaluate the client’s order on a technical level
  • Take care of the setup of the content of the company’s offer to the client and adjust the text where needed.

  • Candidates will be offered a 7 month contract (including 1 month trial period) with possible extension. After 1700 worked hours the client is able to takeover the candidate.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Higher education degree of a university in civil engineering HAS (food processing technology)
  • An excellent understanding of the English language (including technical English)
  • A reasonable level of the German language
  • A significant number of years of experience with a similar position within the food processing industry (Examples of end products are: Soups, sauces, syrups, meals and confectionery.
  • Understand the complete process flow: Hygienic design, Pipelines, E-Hatch, Cable work, Tanks
  • You have a strong personality. You are convincing and your team have confidence in your expertise.
  • A good understanding of sales and a good interaction with the company’s clients
  • You are willing to travel for your duties.
