Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • capture and analyse concrete reporting requirements and balance the information need of users with the available data source with regards to completeness and quality
  • develop concepts for complex reporting applications in close cooperation with users
  • conduct data analysis with BI and database tools within the frame of requirements analysis and the conception of data models and reports
  • develop standard reports using BI reporting tools
  • work together with international project and developer teams
  • specify standard reports for the management as well as the operative business users
  • design and translate the content and wording (report design, drilldown logics etc.) for a user-friendly reporting using a reporting portal
  • define structures and methods for the consolidation of requirements across different divisions
  • understanding of the importance of reporting for the overall company control and can easily present information in front of the management
  • travelling to Vienna premises 3x per week and working from there as core of the team is located there

Personality requirements and skills

  • experience analysing concrete reporting requirements and balance the information need of users with the available data source with regards to completeness and quality
  • conducting data analysis with BI and database tools within the frame of requirements analysis and the conception of data models and reports
  • develop standard reports using BI reporting tools
  • experience specify standard reports for the management as well as the operative business users
  • experience with design and translation the content and wording (report design, drilldown logics etc.) for a user-friendly reporting using a reporting portal
  • experience with structures and methods for the consolidation of requirements across different divisions
  • have successfully completed your studies in Computer Sciences or Economic Computer Sciences or bring a similar qualification with you
  • experience with modern reporting tools in the environment of Business Intelligence and the design of reporting solutions
  • have a basic understanding of the importance of reporting for the overall company control and can easily present information in front of the management
  • have very good English skills
  • bring excellent social and communication as well as assertiveness skills on all hierarchical levels
  • customer orientation
  • willingness to work 3 days from Vienna and 2 days from Bratislava office or home office
