Leader of the Group of Data Warehouse Analysts

A Lead Data Warehouse Analyst is responsible for the Group Data Warehouse Business View Layer, DWH Requirements engineering, Data Analyses and Sandboxing for a specific Business Content topic. He works with the development and business team creating the requirements, designing the Data model, support for designing the business process e.g. with UML, creating reports, support to get the Data of the DWH and sources and explaining it to business. He has also knowledge about the business architecture of a special content area in the Group Data Warehouse and knows very well to use DWH/BI reporting tools.
A candidate is expected to have very good experience in BI Reporting layer architecture, designing, developing, mappings and requirements/demand workflows and is the Lead for providing technical and business guidance, frameworks for a group of DWH Data Analysts in DWH Projects or DWH Solutions and have experience in a variety of business intelligence concepts and practices.

• Lead for Business Layer Design Specification preparation, e.g. Feasibility study for DWH projects/solutions
• Interpretation of business and technical specifications to understand mapping and transformational requirements
• Lead of BI Solutions Designing
• Lead of DWH Designing and set up a Business View Layer
• Lead of DWH requirements packages preparation
• Lead of combining and optimizing Requirements between different business units
• Effort estimation for assigned tasks and participation on the DWH business solutions
• Provision of support to test teams in their work by fixing and solving bugs
• Creating business use cases
• Lead and maintain proper technical and business documentation to ensure the quality of the DWH/BI solutions
• Coordination of DWH Data Analysts Project team resources, prioritize, assign and monitor individual activities to consistently meet or exceed delivery objectives within designated project time lines
• Coordination of direct guideline, assessment and training for DWH Analysts and lead a small team of analysts
• Lead on research projects, exploring and evaluating new technologies
