Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Providing legal advice in the area of collective Investments, reviewing non-standard contract documentation
  • Monitoring of Slovak legislation and requirements of EU supervisory authorities
  • Coordination of compliance for Hungary and Croatia
  • Intensive communication with Headquarter in Italy
  • Identification and risk evaluation
  • Definition of actions and proposal of changes in order to eliminate potential risk
  • Ensure compliance with internal directives, company documentation and managed funds in relation with current legislation and requirements of supervisory bodies
  • Controlling activity from compliance point of view

Personality requirements and skills

  • Min. 3 years of experience gained in the area of collective investments, financial markets (or similar) within financial institution
  • Knowledge of Slovak legislation, overview in collective investments legislations and financial markets of EU
  • Fluent English (verbal and written communication, terminology)
  • University degree (legal studies are preferred)
  • Orientation in MIFID and UCITS is an advantage
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Very good presentation and argumentation skills
  • Interest in financial markets
