Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Networks IP Division of Telco company in Bratislava, Slovakia is focusing on building next generation mobile gateway and mobility management products for GPRS, UMTS and LTE networks to address the opportunities from market growth, expansion and renewal.
We are looking for experienced individuals that want to work in a team with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
Responsibilities include following :
  • Develop large portions of complex software independently
  • Contribute in innovation, design, development and engineering of next generation features in SGSN/MME
  • Integrate and troubleshoot module level as well as system level issues
  • Interact with partners and customers to deal with real world deployment issues
  • Work cohesively within the team and across geographically spread teams

Personality requirements and skills

If you are comfortable with Designing, Developing and Delivering Complex Software subsystems, you have Strong Experience using C/C++, knowledge of network programming and network protocols in TCP/IP stack, seek of continuous improvement You might want to work with us.
Responsibilities include following :
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • University Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT) is mandatory
  • Proven experience in designing, developing and delivering complex software subsystems is MANDATORY
  • Knowledge and experience with packet core protocols/interfaces
  • Knowledge and experience with network programming and network protocols in TCP/IP stack
  • Strong hands-on programming experience using C/C++
  • Experience in creating and reviewing designs, specifications, estimates, and code
  • Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting under Linux and embedded system environments
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on complex software systems and existing code base
  • Experience in design & development of system infrastructure software, such as high availability and in-service software upgrade for complex networking products
  • Knowledge of Network Management & Element Management tools (NMS/EMS)
