Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our client, IT division of international bank group, is looking for Solution Manager within a freshly formed team which provides Anti Money Laundering Services to the group.

Main responsibilities as Solution manager:
  • Supporting the entire software development lifecycle
  • Solution Point of Contact for the Business Side
  • Incident & Problem management
  • Capacity & Performance Management
  • Quality Control
  • SLA and Financial Management
  • Ownership of technical architecture
  • Participation in Training Efforts for end-users as well as internal staff
  • Management & Team Lead of development effort on-going adaptations (Change Requests)
  • Managment of Infrastructure Environments (Production, Test, Development)

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Practical Experience in similar role as a Solution Manager with a strong customer focus (at least 2 years)
  • Proficient in English - spoken and written
  • Basic banking knowledge
  • Willingness and ability to lead teams
  • Practical knowledge of Oracle DB
  • Familiarity with UNIX, Java and Web Apps
  • Able to work in complex, multicultural environments
  • Good organisational skills, analytical skills, process and solution oriented
  • High integration and communication skills professional
  • Ability to work in a tightly knit team - a team player
