Job description, responsibilities and duties
If you are a design-savvy person who enjoys designing beautiful and seamless interfaces that wow users and you can’t sleep until everything about the app is so perfectly user friendly, that even your grandmother can use it, you are the right person to fill the position of a Senior UX Designer here at Sygic.
You’ll be working with our R&D and product teams to envision and create the next-generation Sygic navigation for iPhone, Android and WP7 and other great products in Sygic vision.
What you will be doing:
You’ll be working with our R&D and product teams to envision and create the next-generation Sygic navigation for iPhone, Android and WP7 and other great products in Sygic vision.
What you will be doing:
- create user-centered interfaces that optimize the user experience by considering usage statistics, market analysis, customer feedback, usability findings, and A/B test results
- develop design interface specifications through wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes
- ensure consistency across all products and platforms, enforcing standard UI patterns and guidelines across all deliverables
- ensure a shared UX vision with key cross-functional teams, including Product Management, R&D, and Design
- conduct usability studies

Personality requirements and skills
- keen understanding of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements
- 3 years of experience as a key member of a UX/UI team
- able to work independently and drive results
- strong design skills including screen layouts, information design and typography, and must have a great eye for detail
- comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team: effective listening, respect for other perspectives and contributions, and both offer and accept feedback openly
