Job description, responsibilities and duties

Successful candidate will be part of the Business Services team with overall responsibility for coordinating the Reinsurance Treaty P&C / Facultative P&C / Life & Health business managed by European Branches. Business Services are the power-wheel in the mechanism between our internal clients and port of call for all administrative tasks.

In this role you will know the structure, needs and potential of our clients and collaborate locally with other departments of the Swiss Re Group for the accomplishment of objectives of Division Europe.

You will be responsible for supporting the team of Business Coordinators in administering the reinsurance business. This position includes data processing, tools administration, filing, scanning of documents, preparation of different kind of materials (Power point presentation, Excel Sheets, etc.), scheduling of meetings and any other tasks upon requests.

• Provide cover for roles in other teams
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

Required education
• Secondary School and/ or currently studying
• University education (Bachelor´s degree) and/ or
• University education (Master´s degree) (Ideally in the area of economics / business administration)

Skills
Language skills:
• English advanced

Personality requirements and skills
• Knowledge of English is a must (fluent), other European language is advantage
• Very good command of MS office package (especially Excel and Word)
• Reliable and self-reliant task manager
• Strong customer focus and service orientation
• Strong team player
• Reinsurance or Insurance knowledge would be beneficial
