Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will act as IT project coordinator for Financial Accounting Hub and support the project manager in all project related activities. This includes organizing and leading regular meetings, tracking progress as well as managing key stakeholders. The role also includes Business Analysis tasks for various other projects within the Asset Management IT unit. Business Analyst is the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives.

Asset Management IT is operating out of Zurich, New York, London and Bratislava and is responsible for managing over 130 billion CHF for the Swiss Re Group. There is a very close collaboration between the different locations and units. This position acts as a key contact between project manager, project team members and senior management.

In parallel to this position, hiring for preferred part-time version of this role (IT Project Coordinator) is in progress.

In the IT project coordinator role the main tasks include:
• Organize and facilitate internal and external meetings
• Monitor and track project's progress and handle any issues that arise
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Ensure continuous project improvement process within the project

In the business analyst role the main tasks include:
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Own and develop relationship with stakeholders
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of IT projects (JIRA experience advantageous)
• Previous experience in Business Analysis is an advantage
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills in English (both verbal and written), open communication style
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Asset management and accounting know-how advantageous but not necessary
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Travel up to 5-10% annually
