Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

•Creation and maintenance of data related to various types of investment securities (fixed income, equities, derivatives,...) as well as investment portfolios in internal accounting system.
•Verifying and researching discrepancies related to security amortized values, book and market analytics (yield, duration,...)
•Working with Bloomberg, Financial Times and other external data providers
•Transfers and mergers of securities between investment portfolios
•Assets' fair value reporting maintenance via Mark to Market rules
•Regular close collaboration with Investment Reporting, Transaction processing, IT and other teams present in Bratislava and other locations including NY, London and Zurich.
•Liaise with IT to develop, maintain and test data interfaces to guarantee an optimal security master data flow throughout the Asset Management and Finance IT landscape

About the team:
Having at least basic understanding of financial instruments and wish to broaden your knowledge of investment products, at this role you can gather a detailed understanding of how those products work, their attributes, how they're processed in systems across Finance and Asset Management (AM) functions and their accounting implications. Our team is positioned between AM and Finance aimed to focus on transformation and improvement of the detailed security investment data for downstream partners, providing the backbone for investment reporting and strategic decision making.

You'll be part of our international Finance Reinsurance team of six people and given opportunity to develop and combine investment, accounting and technical knowledge. It requires the person being passionate about learning and understanding of the work and detail oriented with strong analytical thinking.
