About the Role
We are looking for a university student in the 4th or 5th grade who wants to work part-time in IT within our Digital Workplace Team based in Bratislava. As a SharePoint Migration Assistant you will have a great opportunity to participate in an exciting migration project.
Your role will be to support users and to move their content from on premise SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. You will be analyzing SharePoint sites, SharePoint content, and reviewing and fixing migration issues/problems in order to move the content into SharePoint Online, or file shares (cloud or on premise).
What will you do in detail?
- Monitor and check SharePoint migrations
- Work and operate the migration tool (Content Matrix from Metalogix)
- Use cutting edge tools - Power apps, Power Automate (Flow), Azure
- Assist in resolving defects that occur as a result of the migration process
- Review and perform manual migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
- Collaborate directly with SharePoint Site Owners, support them throughout the migration process

What do you need as a successful SharePoint Migration Assistant?
Knowledge:
- 4th or 5th grade student with good IT skills
- Experience with SharePoint/Office 365 would be great
- Ideally you should also know how to configure SharePoint sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries as well as writing scripts using PowerShell. If you do not have experience in SharePoint yet, let's talk how fast you can learn it.
- Willingness to work in an agile team setup using scrum methodology
Behavioral competences:

- You can easily understand user needs and solve issues in a timely manner
- You like working in an intercultural and international team environment
