Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a candidate to support the Underwriting Associates with maintenance of deals and contracts in the systems. The team of Underwriting Associates works closely with Underwriters in all Swiss Re offices in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and diverse team and will interact with various nationalities in and outside Slovakia.

Core Responsibilities
•Support of business services and underwriting units with maintenance of deals and contracts in the systems
•Work closely with underwriting associates (both in the location and outside) and potentially as well with underwriters in order to handle tasks on time with high quality
•Review insurance submission data for accuracy and completeness
•Enter and maintain insurance policy information in systems and tools, including documents and associated tasks following established guidelines and processes
•Make sure the data entered have supporting documentation attached
•Maintain and update the risk information
•Compare document versions and convert documents from/to various formats using tools and/or manually
•Regularly monitor the workflow tool for incoming requests
•Interaction and coordination with team members
•Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor

Duration: 6 months starting as soon as possible.

About the team
Dynamic team consisting of 35 young professionals providing support to underwriting units handling EMEA corporate property and casualty insurance business. The department is divided into four teams: two analytical (Costing) and two administration (Submission and Binder) teams, in line with core value chain of insurance policy life cycle. Education and experience
•University student (Bachelor degree is an advantage)
•Accounting/Finance/Economic background is a plus

Personal skills
•Fluency in English is a must, any other language is a plus
•Profound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Package
•Able to deliver precise and reliable, well documented work, within agreed deadlines
•Responsibility for accuracy and timeliness (both in daily tasks and attendance)
•Fast learner with good eye for detail
•Good team player, who is willing to go the extra mile
