Corporate Solutions is Swiss Re's fastest growing business segment with significant organic and inorganic growth targets for the future. Finance Corporate Solutions is seeking an individual who can develop and maintain an effective control framework and globally consistent processes for the Finance function. In this role, you will be working as Risk & Controls Analyst in Standards and Governance within Finance Corporate Solutions. You will be responsible to ensure adherence with Swiss Re Group requirements on internal control standards and process documentation and risk monitoring.

Main tasks:
• Support development and enhancement of internal control framework and risk indicators
• Identify, monitor and report risks. Ensure control framework is kept current and followed consistently throughout Finance Corporate Solutions current (including the updating of documentation as new systems are implemented)
• Monitor Finance Corporate Solutions open issues to ensure timely resolution and closure
• Support operational incident reporting within Finance Corporate Solutions and produce regular reports on outstanding incidents
• Support the Finance Corporate Solutions teams in internal and external audit matters
• Support process documentation for Finance Corporate Solutions and assist in developing consistent processes across teams and regions
• Responsibility for the process documentation within Global Controlling, including the setup of effective controls
• Support quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessment process
• Support team in maintaining End User Application (EUA) listings and ensure controls surrounding these EUAs are compliant with Swiss Re policies
• Support Financial Risk Reporting (FRR) for US GAAP and Economic Value Management within Finance Corporate Solutions including development and/or enhancement of processes and controls
• Responsible for preparing and coordinating annual end-end FRR process review for Corporate Solutions
• Primary responsibility for Records Retention within Finance Corporate Solutions
• Participate in and support projects impacting Finance Corporate Solutions, providing expertise in areas that impact the process and controls environments and continuously evaluating any risk to the group associated with the projects
• Support integration activities with regards to acquisitions

Process & Controls Senior Analyst in Corporate Solutions is working in highly professional global environment. The position holder supports 4 regions, cooperating with mix of employees from different corporate hierarchical and functional levels.
You work independently led by highly-experienced Managing Director, professionally guided by Group Governance in line with the latest developments in governance framework and supported by professional tools.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• A background in direct insurance and/or financial services processes is highly desirable
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in audit of internal control assessment or previous experience assessing financial controls, operational risk management or related areas preferred
• Expertise in internal control development, process management, and risk management
• Excellent interpersonal skills (team player) and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Strong communication skills
• High level of abstraction, fast understanding and conceptual thinking, the ability to handle both conceptual and practical issues
• Excellent comprehension, analytical and process management skills
• Ability to frame problems and solutions quickly
• University graduate with primary or higher degree (or equivalent) preferably in finance, accounting
• Fluency in English (both speaking and writing)
• Desire to build up knowledge spanning various disciplines
