Job description, responsibilities and duties
Head Reconciliations represents Asset Management Reconciliations team's processes and needs towards internal or external clients and service providers. He/she also takes the ultimate responsibility for the performance of team's processes, especially execution of all cash and position reconciliations in accurate, controlled and timely manner. The position holder also engages in initiatives or projects directed by senior management. He/she undertakes all duties related to people management. Head Reconciliations ensures proper control environment is in place across all Reconciliations teams.
Business management
• Manage the team responsibilities, with special focus on timely reconciliation breaks identification, investigation and escalation
• Keep an oversight and full control over team's related tasks, processes and projects
• Actively communicate with internal and external stakeholders (brokers, custodians and clients)
• Continually improve customer / stakeholder service
People management
• Manage the team which includes all activities related to people management and leadership, including hiring, onboarding, performance review, training & development
• Ensure work continuity as well as proper escalation hierarchy is followed
• Ensure solid awareness and prevention of operational risk
• Allocate resources according to set priorities and urgency
Business management

3-5 years relevant working experience in the area of financial markets.

• Proven interpersonal skills for work within team and across departments (internal & external stakeholders)
• Project management experience
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
