Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position is focused on two main roles: Reconciliation and Reinsurance Collateral.
The purpose of the Reconciliation role is to ensure verification, recording and control of investment activities. Internal AM systems are compared with bank statements in order to reflect reliable and accurate cash and asset positions.
The main purpose of the Reinsurance collateral role is to ensure that the value of collateral in form of letters of credit corresponds to the amount of Swiss Re reinsurance exposures. This role is about day-to-day contact with clients, banks and various internal stakeholders.

• Execution of daily nostro cash reconciliation for assigned accounts
• Execution of daily vostro cash reconciliation for assigned accounts
• Complete daily position reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Keeping breaks to minimum level
• Regular updating of the portfolios and accounts list in your responsibility
• Administration of letters of credit
• Management of collateral contracts between Swiss Re, bank and client
• Maintenance and control of collateral data in internal systems
• Instructing banks for collateral adjustments
• Booking of respective collateral adjustments in investment systems
• Calculation of internal/external fees and completion of letter of credit fee (LOC) billing procedure
• Communication with internal and external parties to resolve daily and more complex queries
• Management of assigned responsibilities, escalation and work continuity
