Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Daily reconciliation between different asset management and treasury systems
• Daily reporting, cash projection and bank balances control
• Daily control and review within the Quantum SunGard tool
• Review and control of International Trade Control tools
• Bank fees analysis
• Maintain and publish FX rates
• Setting up of static data, regular clean up and review
• Resolve various requests from other Swiss Re parties
• Daily monitoring of share programs
• Collect data and help to produce liquidity reports
• Coordinate cash change analysis and overview of IGR payments:
• Handling with Shared based compensation plans
• Participation in continual improvement, projects and goals
• Support interest/coupon payment process resulting from external funding of the company
• Support other payment process resulting from external funding of the company
• Support compliance certification process
• Ability to deputise team members and cover all tasks. Have overview of all responsibilities of team members.
• Be able to analyse gaps in Treasury processes and outline possible solutions and improvements
• Share knowledge and expertise with all team members, train new team members
• Preparation of presentations and present for wider audience
• Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Solid accounting knowledge (Understanding of balance sheet accounts, P&L accounts
• Basic knowledge of payment systems, cash management discipline, bank account reconciliation,
• Any other knowledge in Treasury products and /or Financial markets are advantage
• Fluent communication in English and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals in different cultural environments
• Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and solid understanding of cash and short term investment management processes and issues
• Advanced user knowledge of MS Office tools
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to meet multiple and tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Client oriented personality with the ability to prioritize activities
• Ability to multitask with various responsibilities and strong coordination skills
