Position is an integral part of the risk management framework for our Insurance teams in EMEA. The holder will be accountable for the verification of the critical data in administrative systems such as Manhattan. The holder will work closely with the Manager of Cross Functional Operations to ensure the effective implementation of the Data Control framework. The role will involve strong interaction with underwriting support to correct identified issues and with Manager of Cross Functional Operations to create solutions to systemic data quality issues.
Key accountabilities:
• Actively support the Data Quality Framework for Operations though the review and verification of Financial Reporting Relevant fields in high value contracts bound by Underwriting Support.
• Analyze the results of the reviews to identify potential process improvements and to work with the Cross Functional Manager to create solutions.
• The role will work with key stakeholders to implement agreed changes to the process in Operations.
• Actively participates, as needed, in high impact projects designed to achieve significant benefits. Participation includes serving as project leader, team member, or advisor.
• In cooperation with Operations Team Leaders and other Managers coach, mentor, train, guide and proactively share their expertise where needed both internally and with our customers.
• Support Team Leaders/Operations and other areas of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in solving Data Quality issues, complex problems, issues, escalations and queries that touch upon the incumbent's expertise.
• Support management in setting, managing, monitoring and delivering on relevant business targets (KPI, Risk Management, etc.) by providing thought leadership, expertise and experience.
• Collaborate with teams to share knowledge and insights
• Manage the needs of identified internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to the controls and ensure 100 % compliance
• Provide cover for other roles in the team as requested
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required

Education
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the financial services industry
