Job description, responsibilities and duties
The purpose of the position is to manage set up of Swiss Re investment accounts externally with custodians and internally in Swiss Re systems. Custody administration role is about day-to-day contact with custodians and various internal stakeholders. The role enables to develop expert technical knowledge in a wide range of Back and Middle Office activities, as well as soft skills through exposure to key decision makers and participation in projects. Over time the successful candidate will also be involved in reinsurance collateral activities performed by the team.
• Instruction and monitoring of custody, collateral and cash account openings /closings
• Maintenance and control of custody and collateral data in internal systems
• Management of documentation and contracts between SR entities and banking entities
• Preparation of collateral contracts between Swiss Re, custodian and client
• Administration of cedent deposits and letters of credit
• Instruction of custodians for asset transfers
• Booking of respective asset transfer in accounting and investment system
• Clear communication with internal and external parties as well as with clients to resolve daily queries
• Calculation of internal/external fees and completion of LOC fee billing procedure
• Collaboration on new tasks and projects
• Comply with stakeholders' requests
