About the Role
As a Senior Systems Analyst in Group Internal Audit (GIA), you will help deliver impactful end-to-end solutions that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal auditing. The role provides an opportunity to understand requirements across all GIA processes and apply your technology-related knowledge while supporting a global team.
Your key tasks include researching and selecting applications and technologies relevant to internal audit. Leading the end-to-end assessment, implementation and support for new applications, and, also specific reporting and automation solutions used by GIA. Working with IT and users to handle all ongoing support activities, and, leading GIA's compliance with all of Swiss Re's technology and information-related internal policies. You will also maintain GIA’s information model so that we can make better use of our data.The role will include infrequent travel (up to 5-10%).

About You
Education and experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a role performing systems analysis where business requirements are met with technology solutions.
- Experience implementing new applications and solutions.
- Technology-related university degree e.g. Computer Science.
- Understanding of reporting technologies (e.g. Microsoft SSRS, Tableau), automation solutions (e.g. robotic process automation) and other platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform).
- Experience working with internal audit or other assurance providers such as risk management and compliance (preferred).
- Understanding of agile working practices.
Personal skills:
- Critical thinker that sees the "big picture" (e.g. overall themes, trends, goals), generates innovative ideas and solutions to problems and makes recommendations in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances.
- Professional communicator, able to gain and maintain a trusted relationship while delivering difficult messages
- Structured analyst, capable of understanding user requirements and translating them into technology-related solutions. Strong attention to detail.
- Team worker, able to listen to others but also influence in order to see the wider picture and achieve a vision
