Job description, responsibilities and duties

For the migration of an existing Java Swing Client to a Web Client technology we are looking for a contractor to work on this project from now until the end of this year. You will work on the refactoring of the EJB to a REST service layer within a team of Web Client developers who are working on the front end. The expectation on you is high coding quality, reusability of code and reliable delivery based on good estimates..

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Strong expertise in REST services, Java 6, JSON and JUnit.
- Basic knowledge in EJB 3.x, Spring 3.x., DB2, SQL, and Mockito.
- Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment.
- Strong command of English language verbal and written is a must have.
