Job description, responsibilities and duties
As part of the Asset Management Testing Services team, you will support all build and run activities within IT. Our team ensures the end-to-end quality of all in-house developed solutions, as well as the technical integration of 3rd party solutions.
- You are a sharp, experienced software test engineer with strong problem solving skills and a solid software development foundation.
- You are a talented, detail-oriented and enthusiastic tester who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about the new cutting edge technology offered to our customers.
- You are familiar with automation framework and tools.
- You are experienced in database testing mainly in Oracle and MS SQL server.
- You are flexible, independent/able to work with a group and self-motivated.
On this position you will:
- You are responsible for system testing of Swiss Re's Asset Management applications.
- You have an insight in all important AM IT projects and visibility to senior management.
- Delivering high quality software solutions and quality assurance services to Asset Management IT units, you will perform software tests for internal clients.
- You will design, plan, execute and automate tests for software across a variety of n-tier architectures and cutting-edge technologies or educate projects on how-to.
- Enable Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery through test automation by using a holistic approach for requirement validations over the application life cycle.
- Take responsibility for our testing platforms and methodology and modernize them for our Cloud architecture.
