Job description, responsibilities and duties
Apart from being responsible for all HR related topics for the US Reconciliation team, the team leader is responsible for the oversight of all investment related transactions executed on financial markets. The purpose of the position is to assist and ensure that clear controls have been taken in order to run day to day activities in Asset Management. Verification, recording and control of all investment activities in internal AM systems vs external world, in order to reflect reliable and accurate cash and asset positions used for investment and accounting purposes.
• Manage US Reconciliation team in Bratislava which includes all activities related to people management and leadership, including hiring, onboarding, performance review, training and development
• Supervise and ensure completeness and accuracy of all reconciliation tasks and processes
• Lead the team, supervise and support, review the performance and work continuity
• Monitor open reconciliation items and their resolution according to escalation matrix
• Keep all KPI/KRIs on desired level
• Taking the lead / initiative in ensuring cooperation and coordination with other departments
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Resolution of complex queries from stakeholders
• Consistently search for ways to improve processes, simplification and efficiency gains
• Team members development, proactive training and organization of knowledge transfer within the team
• Management of team responsibilities, escalation and work continuity
• Solid awareness and prevention of operational risk
• Ensure that processes are meeting current governance requirements
