Job description, responsibilities and duties
Procurement Operations team is responsible for administration of vendor master data for several Swiss Re locations worldwide; supporting P2P process via purchase order creation and providing 2nd level support; supporting specific sourcing categories with procurement process and strategic sourcing.
With this, Procurement Operations Associate supports daily operations moreover works independently, actively participates on projects, acts as a role model in the team, liaises with other departments and is trainer for the team.
Procurement Operations Associate ensures processing all tasks and requests in timely manner, in line with internal rules and guidelines. Daily communication with our internal and external customers is also part of his/her responsibilities.
Support the development of Source to Pay financial targets, and delivering financial targets where applicable
Support the collection and consolidation of information and reporting to populate the KPIs and Balanced Scorecard Targets
Support the collection of Vendor, market, category and internal business data and information
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing Sourcing policies and procedures
Accountable to ensure quality processes for Source to Pay service delivery are maintained and updated to ensure business partner requirements continue to be met
Support the vendor management framework for Source to Pay, aligned to the Vendor Relationship and Management Framework
Accountable for taking ownership of your own career, performance and development
Responsible to ensure continual improvement is active in the Source to Pay team - active part in CI initiatives, engage team members in CI improvements
Responsible for providing project execution support to specific projects (if required)

• Strong verbal and written business communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle numerous priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated member able to interact within global team
• Very good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
