Job description, responsibilities and duties
Asset Management (AM) Governance Support team is responsible for establishing and maintaining an appropriate control environment within Asset Management and supporting the business units within Swiss Re Asset Management in governance related tasks. Further roles include the coordination and management of the communication between AM and assurance functions and other non-AM stakeholders with the goal of minimizing impact to the business. AM Governance also provides adequate reporting to AM Senior Management.
This role initiates and coordinates the various control activities/monitoring function (e.g. update of processes, risks and controls, etc.) according to Control Framework Guidelines, governance related requirements (e.g. Business Continuity Management, Records Management, etc.) and supports AM teams and Head Governance Support with other governance related tasks.
This role will perform quality assurance of all Control Framework tasks including AM business processes documentation. This person will closely cooperate with business functions and perform assigned tasks which are governance related.
This role will as well perform specific governance tasks assigned by AM team this role supports.
Your main tasks will be:
• Perform governance related tasks as assigned by AM team
• Act as point of contact for assurance functions such as auditors, Compliance, Operational Risk Management, etc.
• Coordinate and provide support to the business in audit related topics such as preparing and providing the requested documentation (reports, processes booklets)
• Coordinate and supervise the review of the Business Unit Plans across all locations
• Maintain AM processes in the Business Architecture Model and support the processes overall landscaping
• Perform quality assurance of the processes across AM
• Initiate the review of various governance related tasks
• Support streamlining the processes as requested
• Collect data and produce the Management Report for the Head AM Business Services containing the Key Performance Indicators
• Perform quality assurance over the Management Report
• Perform any other job related tasks as instructed by the manager
